Artists Photographer and FilmmakerKoutaiba Al-Janabi is an award winning, truly independent filmmaker and photographer from Baghdad. He has been directing and producing his own short films, documentaries and feature films for 30 years, as truly independent productions. Koutaiba Al Janabi Painter and PrintmakerSadiq Kareem Toma (b. 1952) studied at the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad. He went into exile in 1978, moving to London to continue his design and illustration work. He uses printmaking, painting and calligraphic traditions in his artwork. Sadiq Kareem Toma FilmmakerSamir is a proflic documentarian and producer. He left Baghdad in the 1960s with his family, studying design and training as a cameraman in Switzerland. He’s been producing films – shorts and features for cinema and television - since the 1980s.
