Sonja Kresojevic

Artist

Sonja Kresojevic is a multidisciplinary artist and writer.

Born in former Yugoslavia and shaped by more than three decades of nomadic living, her practice emerges from an ongoing inquiry into identity, belonging, and memory. Working across visual and textile art, installation, writing, and embodied practices, she creates immersive and relational works that explore how stories, memories, and lived experiences can be woven into new shared realities.

Her work often blurs the boundaries between artist and audience, creating spaces where individual narratives become part of a larger exploration.

Her work has been exhibited internationally, including exhibitions in Milan, Madrid, Rome, and Belgrade, as well as site-specific installations in France, Uruguay, and Japan. Most recently, she created the installation Tell Me the Story of Your Life Without Once Touching Mine for Expo 2025 Osaka, exploring the invisible threads that shape our shared sense of humanity.
